I tried to read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies but I had to quit. The zombie parts were entertaining enough, but too few and far between. They did have a convienient illustration whenever the zombies attacked, so I guess you could skim the book and look for the pictures and just read those parts. My wife is a huge Pride and Prejudice fan so she made it though the whole thing. She also didn't like it that much because much of the "emotional tension" I believe was condensed into summaries by the new author.

Yeah I've heard very mixed reviews about Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

Kate Beaton is probably right in that this genre is getting out of hand.
